Acrylic Art
When I first started painting I used Acrylic, most of these are works I had done before I went back to college. I found that being an artist still meant in the work world that without a degree I was not going to go anywhere. So three years a go I went back to college and now have two more years. I am working on my BFA and then hope to obtain my MFA.

Grief Competition
Acrylic on Canvas Acrylic canvas board
$450.00 Not For Sale
My angle Grief, she was done just days after 9/11 but I did not stop there I also did two others... one that I had finished the morning of 9/11 and that gave her the name Devistation, the final angel to my group is Retribution. If you look around you will find all three here somewhere. If not I did yet another rendition of my angels and they can be found under Unusual. I tied them all together in one single piece, called The Altar Piece.
Dark Knight Devistation
16 x 20 18 x 24
$50.00 $150.00
My angel Devistation was the one I completed on the morning of 9/11. I had her almost finished when my husband came in and told me to turn on the TV I was in shock. I had her done as the last tower fell and as tears ran down my face I looked to the painting and her name came about DEVISTATION.

Gentle Warrior Guardian of the Dragons
16 x 20 16 x 18
$200.00 F/M $200.00 F/M
These two paintings were done almost at the same time. I wanted to take my work to Dragon Con and let professionals look at it. That was when I found out I needed to go back to college. All they would say is where did you graduate from, and they didn't mean high school. My heart was shattered for a while but then I did as my father would say "Buck up Soldier" and went back to school at a very late age. Now I just need to do both of these over again in Oil!!

Little Red Ridding Hood Temptation
24 x 36 16 x 20
Prints Only $100.00 $75.00
The Painting Little Red Riding Hood was painted during the same time as 9/11 I was angery and I had found a long time ago if I would just sit down and paint what I felt I would be able to get over it quicker. So I sat with my paints and did this 24 x 36 cartoon painting of a female representing the United States Armed Forces, and Bin shakled and chained, being hauled away by a female. The things he hated, for women don't do that in his land, ;) Then as I went on letting my imagination carry me, her name came quickly ... Little Red Riding Hood.

I did this when I was only sixteen years old. It was one of my fathers favorite paintings. Thus my reason for not selling it. I love doing paintings with a wash over top showing yet another object. I feel it makes the painting that much more interesting.
